password thinkpad t510

  • I have a laptop model think Pad T 510 unfortunately I have forgotten the password and when I turn it on immediately it requires the password so pleas help me out

Without the password you aint getting in. It's a security feature that would be pointless if there was an easy way round it.

 

Even a Lenovo Technician won't help unless you can prove it belongs to you.

sorry you're having an issue.

 

i think your only recourse is to try to remember the password. most computer forums on which i participate don't even allow discussion of password work-arounds, for understandable reasons

 

if you can't remember the password, i believe that Lenovo Service might be able to assist, only after proof of ownership is firmly established. even then it may require a system board replacement... not inexpensive, and not likely covered under any warranty.

 

hope you can recall the password.
