"NVIDIA Display settings are not available" when starting NVIDIA Control Panel applet

I have a new T470p running Windows 10 Enterprise x64 Build 16296. In Device Manager I can see 2 display adapters, an "Intel HD Graphics 630" and an "NVIVIDA GeForce 940MX".

After updating the NVIDIA drivers to v22.21.13.8205 when I start the NVIDIA Control Panel applet I get the following dialog:

Previously the applet would open normally.

Any ideas as to how to get the applet to open normally?

Try to unistall the driver and install the driver using Lenovo website:

Hi!

Thanks for responding. It seems my T470p just needed a few more reboots! The NVIDIA icon now appears in my notifiication area.
