Re: t400 screen resolution with xp

Must have been an error. 1440x1050 is SXGA+ 4:3 aspect ratio resolution. This was commonly found on pre-widescreen Thinkpad models. For the T400, the resolution choices for the screen are WXGA at 1200x800 or WXGA+ at 1440x900. I'm assuming you have the WXGA+ screen since that resolution is available to you.

Your memory is faulty then, as the Vista resolution is definitely1440x900... I have  a T400 with WXGA+ that is running Vista sitting right here in front of me!

Cheers,

Bill

Unless he managed to run a custom resolution which would have distorted the image...
