t410i fan failed?

When I turn on my laptop yesterday I get a "fan error", then I had my fan cleaned and restart it. This time the fan do work when self-checking, but after I enter the os and even my GPU exceed 85 C the fan do not work! What I can do? Buy a new fan? Thx!

Re: t410i fan failed?

It sounds like the fan is running too slow. That means the bearing is worn and you need a new fan. If you have a GPU, make sure you buy one for discrete graphics
