t440p "media test failure, check cable"

I bought a t440p a few months ago which came with an already installed 128 GB SSD. I once accidentally left my computer running for a couple of hours and came back to it burning up. After that whenever I tried to start my computer I would get the "media test failure, check cable" error. I ended up buying a new SSD from sony, as the internet said I most likely had a broken SSD, but the same error still pops up. I am at a loss as to what to do and would appreciate any help.

I found a similar discussion here in our community forums. Could you try the solution provided and check if this works. Check the link below and I just want to verify, after you replaced the SSD, did you reinstall the OS?

I forgot that I have to newley download windows 10. By any chance do you know how I would do that as every computer I have ever bought just came with windows.
