t500 speakers

Are the t500 speakers 1 watt just like the t520?   Are they both about the same quality?  Someone told me they think they sound could be better on the t520, but I don't mind the sound on my t500..

Thanks!

Re: t500 speakers

I'm pretty sure the T500 doesn't have 1W speakers.

Also, the T500 has a WXGA+ or WSXGA+ panel, not an HD+ panel. Smiley Wink

Re: t500 speakers

Nice catch...

So if they are not 1 watt, are the new ones going to be stronger or weaker?

Re: t500 speakers

The new ones should be stronger. I recall seeing it phrased implicitly as such. In any case, you can boost the apparent volume by messing with the equalizer, which is essentially audio compression which is not necessarily a good thing: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Loudness_war
