Re: the latest firmware update lowers disk performance in T570

it seems that it is not a disk firmware problem

I have installed a WD Black NVMe SSD M.2 500GB PCIe Gen3

and the problem is the same....

I think it's some driver after the last update of Lenovo Vantage

Re: the latest firmware update lowers disk performance in T570

I started with windows 10 live 64bits from a pendrive and the result is the same

I begin to think that it can be a problem of bios N1VET46W 1.36

Re: the latest firmware update lowers disk performance in T570

according to the specifications of http://psref.lenovo.com

the bus works at 2x  NVMe, PCIe 3.0 x 2, 16Gb / s

and all the softwares indicate that the disk is working with PCIe 3.0 x 1

Re: the latest firmware update lowers disk performance in T570

Solved

remove the lid, disconnect the CMOS battery (this will reset the bios)
