thinkpad t400 intel 4500MHD integrated webcam PROBLEMS

Hello, I purchased a thinkpad t400 which arrived the day before christmas.

 

This build comes with the p8600 i believe cpu, intel 4500MHD graphics, 1440x900 LED backlit screen with webcam

 

My problem straightforwardly is, the webcam absolutely..SUCKS.

 

Even with Yawcam to try to correct to terrible white balance issues, and color hue issues, its still extremely dark, yellow and reddish and I have found no fix in site. My worry is that when I send this in (because obviously its still under warranty its only been 2 days) my computer will come back with even worse issues and my harddrive deleted. This has been the problem with HP in the past for my parents.

 

Will someone from Lenovo please respond to this. I really need this sent in and resolved. Also When i send it in, can i request a certain change to the build if needed? for example if the problem only occurs with the intel 4500MHD can they give my the ATI mobility 3470 instead? This is my school laptop and this terribly inconveniences me.

 

Please respond back ASAP.
