Lenovo PM device driver bug in windows 8

2013-02-02, 21:28 PM

The system I installed is Windows 8 Pro
I wanted to report that the latest version of the Lenovo PM driver device (1.66.0.22)
ACPI \ VEN_IBM & DEV_0068
, Which is distributed via windows update, causes in notebook Lenovo Thinkpad T61p a problem with the power schemes.
Since I've updated the driver the notebook systematically ignores the setting about the sleep timer going to sleep whenever he wants. (mine is set to never sleep while plugged id)
Doing a rollback to a previous version (1.65.6.21) the problem goes away.
