My old T60 led screen failed.

2010-01-20, 7:49 AM

It was showing red for a while, now it shows red for about 3 seconds then turns off. Its out of warrenty. How much would it be to repair/replace screen aprox?

I wanted to put up on ebay but i'm sure I would get next to nothing without the screen working. If its to much to repair is there a trade in program than can be used towards next purchase?

I payed $2400 for this about 2 years ago so would like to fix it as it still works 100% on and external monitor.

you can change the LCD for around 150 USD if you do it yourself, what is your T60 LCD size?

It's 14.1 with resolution of 1400x1050. Could it be the inverter:

The screen works for about 2 -3 seconds on boot just a bit red. Seems like the backlight is the issue
