Problem with booting up

2008-03-19, 19:38 PM
I recently installed a HP printer to my a20m laptop.  When I try to trun on the laptop, I get the message that it was shut down incorrectly and to open in safe mode/ open in windows etc.   When I do this nothing happens, ans it keeps returning to the same error message.  Any advice??
Thank in advance

Hi, welcome to the forum!

When you boot the system and get the black screened menu that Windows didn't start correctly, try choosing the method that says something along the lines of using the last known good configuration, and see if that makes a difference.

If that doesn't work, you might have to boot up in Safe Mode and uninstall the HP drivers/software.
