Slow and flickering graphics after installing new driver to my Quadro FX 570M (6.14.11.7471)

2008-09-22, 9:29 AM

My computer is very slow after installation the latest driver from Lenovo. The biggest performance problem is when using datagrids like in SQL Server Management Studio and similar applications. We have some HP laptops in the company with an FX 570M, and the problem is exactly the same after they updated there drivers to. So my point is, NVIDIA need to review there latest driver for these issues. These issues is already posted on NEVADA forum, but nothing seems to happen.

Can anyone tell me what do, or except?

Hello,

as a first aid, I would recommended to roll back your gfx driver to the old version.

Try a new release when it´s availible.

Kind regards

Andreas

Hello,

if your system contains the Lenovo software application folder on C:\SWTools,

you can get the old one there.

You can also try modded Ati drivers from modder pages, but there might be some

incompatibilities with your other Lenovo software, but take a look and it might serve your needs.

Regards

Andreas

I am running version 7.15.11.7597 (from 6/9/2008) on my 14.1" 1400 x 1050 T61P, with minimal problems.  I have slight issues with the Xirrus Wi-Fi sidebar application not displaying properly, but it does not affect any other applications.
