Re: T61p slooow boot up with Seagate Momentus 7200.4 500gb

ok, I test again, the problem is new bios not compatible with intel turbo memory driver,

look at :  http://forums.lenovo.com/t5/forums/replypage/board-id/T_Series_Thinkpads/message-id/36197

i think we are the same problem .

u can uninstall both the intel turbo memory driver and  intel matrix storage driver , then install only intel matrix storage driver again,

that should be  all fine :)

i think only next bios can fix this issue. Now,i decide remove my turbo memory, the 1G turbo memory can't improve system performace, only trouble me again and again.

It's just a hunch, but this long delay smells to me like a network timeout. You could try disabling AMT in BIOS (cut and paste the link into your browser, a bug in this forum prevents it from being linked properly):

Good luck!

Moderator edit: Fixed link. It seems that the automatic URL detection doesn't pick this link up correctly, but I was able to manually correct the problem with the link edit button.
