italian noob ask help!

hi!

 

im new ^^

 

then, i have z61t and i would to know why if i press special buttom ( +/- volumes, +/- light of monitor, and so on) on the bottom of my monitor doesnt show me nothing! the buttoms work fine,ok, but on the bottom of my monitor doesnt show the usual simbols!!!

 

i have this thinkpad since 4 days ago, and i have already make a "system update" whit thinkpad productivity center.....

 

the last thing, how can i enter in the bios and edit boot sequence? i have already tried to press any key on the notebook startup but nothing happend! :( which key i must press an when?

 

1) any ideas?

2) do you have some sites/software to suggest me for my z61t?

3) do you have some way suggest me for keep update about z61t?

Go into your display property on your desktop, then click on advanced button, there should be a tab for On screen display, make sure you tick the box to activate the OSD for Thinkvantage software set.

 

Press F1 to enter the bios.
