Bluetooth problem - PnPDriverNotFound

Hi all,

I have a problem with a Bluetooth. When I start a computer it keeps trying to install the driver and at the end there are 3 drivers that don't work and this is should be one of them which should be for IBM Bluetooth - WindComm from Broadcom. I have also a Nokia E90- Communicator installed. Does anyone know how to install the correct driver, as I've installed already a driver from the IBM Software&Driver site for the 2nd time, even though System update pulled the same one from the net. So, the question is How to install the correct driver so it would stop complaining and realted to the problem - to connect with a modem used from E90 with it as this drivers must have some some connection with it.

Many thanks for any suggestions, reply-es! Cheers!

Re: Bluetooth problem - PnPDriverNotFound

I'd start over. Uninstall all the drivers or software related to your bluetooth device. Maybe there are conflicting drivers. Uninstall the device and reboot. Windows sould find a new device and want to install the device. If you want the windows drivers or another driver you should be able to choose at that point.

Re: Bluetooth problem - PnPDriverNotFound

I did do that, last time I've done it for probably 3rd time at least was now again, but it doesn't work. I do work in It and I do work with IBM for more than 10 years but this time I cannot find a solutiion - it keeps bringing me up again and again a driver problem for Bluetooth from Broadcom and than from Nokia. I really did reinstall nokia+IBM Bluetooth software, everything! And it is urgent as this is my business notebook and i don't have any more scheduled Calendars...

Thanks for any help, appreciate it!

Re: Bluetooth problem - PnPDriverNotFound

Are you sure is bluetooth driver problem? I searched around in internet and found that other laptop users such as HP  user is also facing the same PnPDriverNotFound, where the machine has Vista installed. But never mentioned whether it is bluetooth driver problem or not. But i could see the similarity here, Vista.

Anyhow, I have yet to know to fix it..i'm sorry Smiley Sad

Re: Bluetooth problem - PnPDriverNotFound

I am sure it must be a Bluetooth driver because it's from Broadcom and it does come out when trying to install the Bluetooth synhronization with the Nokia E90. But it's really strange because mainly 90% of the driver work, but only this part seems to have problems.

I wish there will be a solution very soon because it largely reduces my working efficiency and have problems with forgeting and managing 2 calendars (phone+outlook) at the same time...

Thx anyway!!

Re: Bluetooth problem - PnPDriverNotFound

Hi All,

PROBLEM SOLVED, you might be missing the

D20032-002-001.exe Windows Vista WIDCOMM Bluetooth Driver version: 6.0.1.3400

I am using a T61 with a corporate image, and could never get the last Bluetooth peripheral to work in device manager.

After the installation of the "Windows Vista WIDCOMM Bluetooth Driver version: 6.0.1.3400" you will see that it relates to the “Bluetooth Imaging Responder”

Download these drivers here>>

http://support.gateway.com/support/drivers/getFile.asp?id=21018&dscr=Windows%20Vista%20WIDCOMM%20Blu...

Hope this helps.

Cheers
