Bottery does not charging

Neither of my two batteries is not chargeing. The battery light is  blink orange, The power meter says 74% when on AC power but the batteries do not charge up and the meter does not change. Power metter says: "A battery error ocured. The battery cannot be charged."

This happens with both my batteries. When i unplug my AC power my T61 switch off instantly.

What can I do with this?

Thank You

Re: Bottery does not charging

Hello,

are you using original batteries or from ebay?

Re: Bottery does not charging

I have the exact same issue. I have two batteries, one original and one for DVD bay (again from the manufacturer itself). Battery charging shows 74% (seems like a magic number) when two batteries are installed and it shows 100% when only the original battery is kept (and DVD bay battery is removed). However, when the a/c power cord is removed, the screen goes blank.

Would appreciate tips to fix this issue.

And we're back...
