Can't connect to WPA/WPA2-protected WLAN

Hi.
I got myself a Thinkpad T61 6463-4xg. It seems to have an Intel 4965AG Network card with Draft-N disabled.
It can detect, but not connect to wireless networks using neither AES nor TKIP. Access Connections tells, that the Encryptionmethod is probably not supported and i should call my (not existent) Systemadministrator. The Windows Function first told me that the counterpart wouldn't answer and after a few updates(i cant say which one it was) it switched over to state that the key is wrong. Yes, I tripple checked the key and it's right.
Connecting to unencrypted or WEP-protected Networks works. The network im trying to connect to works for other clients, has no MAC-Filter and no hidden SSID. The Password is pretty short and shouldn't cause any problems.
What I yet did is to update windows including SP1 and to update the Lenovo Software using System Update including a Bios-Upgrade. I manually installed Access Connections 5 as that wasnt included in the Updates. Still no Luck.
I appreciate any Help.
