I have searched about 13 different discussion on various forums, uninstalled and reinstalled tons of drivers, switched bluetooth on and off in the bios, and even tried older drivers.
The problem started when I wiped the computer and installed Windows 7. Everything works like a charm, even the fingerprint scanner. Yes, I know about Fn f5, that DID work before windows 7, but now it only toggles the wireless radio for Wifi.
1. The bios says "bluetooth enabled". I tried disabling and re-enabling it
2. Fn F5 key does not operate the bluetooth, only the wifi. I installed the hotkeys drivers many times, yet still many of my function keys do not work (except for the hardwired ones).
3. I have tried different drivers for the keyboard, hoping it will make the function keys work differently to no avail
4. I cannot install bluetooth drivers, because I cannot enable the bluetooth!
Please, if anyone has encountered and fixed this problem I need help! Thanks in advance.

I have the same problem,, except that it was a Vista to XP install.
the Blue tooth icon on the screen surround comes on on boot up then goes out when windows loads up.
I had done all the sameas you to try and get it back ... but to no avail...
I have to use a bluetooth USB adapter when I need to connect my cell-phone.
But I really would like to get blue tooth back as it should be....
