How do I remove the big green battery and the plug icon?

How do I remove the big green battery and the plug icon? It looks quite ugly and unneccessary. There is already a plug-over-battery icon serving the purpose of identifying battery level and charging status...

Re: How do I remove the big green battery and the plug icon?

I suppose you're talking about Power Manager, while terming it ugly is subjective but it's not unnecessary at all. It tells you information regarding things the LED indicator nor Windows power manager can. Still if you're not convinced, then you can uninstall it from the Add/Remove programs.

Re: How do I remove the big green battery and the plug icon?

Hi thang_nguyen!

Another alternative is to double click on the battery icon and when the Power Manager opens click Advanced>Options and uncheck "Show Power Manager Gauge in task bar then Apply.

To access the Lenovo Power Manager when the Power Manager Gauge is disabled, right click on the Windows Battery/Power icon in the task bar and you should see "Power Manager".

Hope this helps!

Re: How do I remove the big green battery and the plug icon?

That's great tip. I could hide the Big battery icon. The reason I need the power mgmt is that I need to display the sound /light bars. With out the pwr mgr, everything is still working fine. And it already has the plug-over-battery icon (small) which is enough indication of power percentage and charging status.

Thanks for the help.

Re: How do I remove the big green battery and the plug icon?

Just go to right bottom taskbar, right click, toolbar, click to off OneKey Optimizer, big green battery will be disappearing immediately. Solved!

And we're back...
