Intel Pro/Wireless driver will not update properly

I have uninstalled and reinstalled the latest driver from the lenovo site, but I keep getting an error saying that I need to update the driver.  Does anyone have any tips on how to do this?  I want to use ThinkAdvantage Access, but I am not able to without the correct driver.  Also, the wireless radio periodically goes out and I have to reboot to re-initialize.

Thanks in advance,

Donald

Re: Intel Pro/Wireless driver will not update properly

Welcome to the forum!

What ThinkPad are we discussing here to begin with? And, if possible, can you post the 7-character model number and the OS that you're running?

Good luck and keep us posted.

Cheers,

George

Re: Intel Pro/Wireless driver will not update properly

and if i may chime in here with my bias against using thinkvantage access connections... why??  windows does a perfectly fine job of managing wireless connections, natively.  tvac is redundant, a waste of resources really, so why bother?
