Is there a way to test my battery on Lenovo Thinkpad 6457 15.4?

I recently purchased a 15.4 inch Thinkpad T61.  I'd like to find out if my battery is holding good charge or needs to be replaced.  Is there someplace on the Thinkpad in Windows7 or Bios that would tell me?  Some software utility for Windows?

Download the Power Manager (both driver and utility) from Lenovo's site.

alternatively use something like the HWinfo32, and check the battery information under there. It will tell you the design charge (which is the maximum charge of a new battery), and then there is full battery charge (the current maximum capacity). This should tell you the condition of the battery, and wear on it.

But Thinkvantage power manager is better. Also you should attempt one battery reset, this will tell you how the condition of the battery is in all the battery cells.
