No Power At All

Hi

I own a T60. I took the fan out from the computer, than put it back in and every other parts together. When I put power and battery back on, there is no reaction at all. Nothing got started when press on/off button, even no light below the screen was on, including the power and battery lights. I tried use power adaptor or battery only, none of them work. Now the computer is just like a piece of brake. Could you help me? Thanks so much.

Re: No Power At All

were you grounded properly? Maybe you shocked the motherboard.....................

try reseating the cpu, and you need the fan. your computer will burn otherwise...........

Re: No Power At All

Get the Hardware Maintenance Manual for complete instructions on disassembly and reassembly.
