Original Drivers for T23 Type 2647

2010-09-25, 16:11 PM

Hello;

I am trying to find the following original drives for a ThinkPad T23 Type 2647.

Network Controller and the Video controller. I have looked (I think) through the matrix and all I have been able to find are upgrades to drivers. Is there an original driver "pack" available?

Thanks

Chomp

the type number should also have 3 digits after that, in the format of xxxx-xxx.

I too have a Type 2647.....the S/N is xxxxxxx 06/02     Nothing after the 4 digit Type Number though

This one had a grunged Win 2000 system on......with no installation disks. Would not boot or recover. I installed WinXP Pro.

Before installing I checked drivers and although there is a physical ethernet port it does not show on the devices. There is apparently no network adaptor !  WinXP does not recognise it when installed either. It will not connect (obviously)

I found an IBM Diver package and attempted to install but it required MS Net 2.0 so I installed that...then retried the IBM package but XP reported it was not a valid MSI installation file......can anyone help please.

I get these old machines and fix them up for old folks and kids now I am retired.....thanks.....Peter Wilkinson  PhD
