Problem with T60 seeing USB Keybd during boot up

Hello,

    Recently installed docking stations and dual monitors on several T60's. It seems that we can't get into the BIOS, or otherwise use the keybd.

    Didn't notice right away because it seemed to be OK to get into XP.

    Now we've installed PGP disk encryption (which runs before windows) and people can't type passphrase into it, and can't hit F1 to get into BIOS before that - used as an indication of the issue.

   When we installed the docking stations we installed SystemUpdate and updated the latest drivers, BIOS, etc.

    I'm desperate to solve this issue.  It looks like a "how quick does the system recognize a USB keyboard" type issue, that my T61p doesn't seem to have.

  It works on the laptop keyboard, though.

  Any help would be really appreciated.

You have encountered a bug introduced in the latest T60 bios. You will have to back out one level. If version 2.25 then back out to 2.23 and it 1.17 then back out to 1.15 . This problem has been reported elsewhere.
