To whom it may concern,
The wireless drivers on my Lenovo Thinkpad T60p 2007-8EU L39Y4Y8, are not working.
I have uninstalled them, and re-installed them. Same files I have used after several reformats of the machine.
However, this time, the Lenovo Thinkvantage software I used to turn on and configure WiFi, is apparently also missing from the box.
I had the executable, which I have used every time I have reformated the machine, installed it, downloaded patches, etc. Sitll can´t find the WiFi menu.
I see my options as 1) Re download the drivers and ThinkVantage software ... and maybe... 2) Reformat everything again?
Comments? Suggestions? Links to the right stuff appreciated.

Welcome to Lenovo Community!
As per the query we understood that you are facing issue with Wifi on your ThinkPad T60p.
Suggest you to check with installing Power management driver and Lenovo power manager application, after that use the function keys to enable the Wifi adapter and check it once.
Hope this helps.

Thank you for the response. Sorry for the late reply. I have been managing with Ethernet, but I would really want to be able to use WiFi.
I followed the links, downloaded and ithe software, but failed to install the Power Management driver... Enclosed please find the screen shots of what I see.

Thank you for the reply!
Sorry for the late reply, the above provided driver is supported for Windows 7 OS. Sorry I didn’t knew that you are having Windows XP OS in your system, please download the below drivers for Windows XP.
Hope this helps!

Thank you for the response. I downloaded and executed the installation module. Same exact result.
The installation was unsuccessful with the same error. I still don´t have the ThinkVantage WiFi connection module.

Can you provide me the screen shot of device manager; I think the wifi driver is not taken in your system. If possible please provide the hardware from network adapter, to proceed with this right click on computer and click on manage go to device manager and check is there any yellow mark. If you find network controller, just double click on that and go to details and in property select hardware ID and take a screen shot.

Thank you for your continued support. Enclosed please find the requested screen shots. Please let me know if you need anything else. I would really love to get WiFi working again. Thank you.

I had asked hardware ID of network controller which is showing yellow mark.
It’s ok you can try installing wifi driver for that. Download and run the setup file let it install completely, after that restart the system and check in device manager if the network controller is still showing there?
Hope this helps.

I re-downloaded the WiFi drivers, re-installed, rebooted the laptop...
Are you asking me if the "Network Controller" still appears in Yellow?
If the "Network Controller" still appears in Yellow, then you want me to right click on it and return the hardware id from properties?
If the "Network Controller" is not in Yellow, then what do I do?
I will enclose a screen shot of what I see in short.
