Replace EVDO with Intel Turbo memory in T60

Is this possible? How do I remove the WAN antenna? Can I use the same memory as T61?

Re: Replace EVDO with Intel Turbo memory in T60

i would suggest you not use the Intel Turbo memory, the performance boost on the T60 would be hardly worth the effort.

Why do you think so? Isn't it suppose to be like a smart cache for the disk?

Re: Replace EVDO with Intel Turbo memory in T60

It was a good idea, but badily executed in terms of driver support, it had caused many problems in the T61, which lead to BSOD, if you want extra performance, get a 7200 rpm 500 gig HDD with 4 gig of ram, these are performance that will sure to gain and won't cause annoying BSOD.

Re: Replace EVDO with Intel Turbo memory in T60

I already got 7200 320Gb in. So, purely academically then, is it possible?

It could also be possible that your machine will work poorly with the new Intel turbo memory.
