Replacement HD for my T60p

I purchased a larger HD for my T60p.  Do I need to do anything or copy any files to ensure that the blue ThinkVantage button will still work.  Can I use the ThinkVantage button to re-install the OS on the new HD once I have installed the new HD?

Re: Replacement HD for my T60p

I would put the new HDD (target) in the laptop and the old one (source) in a USB caddie and clone the new drive using Acronis. Everything would be copied onto the new drive including the R&R hidden partition. If you then want to reinstall everything you could then press the ThinkVantage button as it's booting up, allowing you to bring it back to factory state.
