Question

I have a T43 2668-89U and need to get a replacement unit. I have discovered that not all 15" units have the native resolution that I desire, which is 1400x1050.

I have been looking around in various websites and see that many units for sale do not have either a hard drive or an OS, so the seller doesn't know what the screen's resolution is. Are there any resources that I can refer to to get information about this?

Answer

To check the screen resolution of systems, all you need is the seven-character model number. Key this in at this website:

http://support.lenovo.com/en_US/

Key in the seven-character  in the "Quick Path" search and you will be able to get the information required.
