I just installed Vista on my T42p, all the drivers works fine except the wireless.
I download "Intel PRO/Wireless 2200bg, 2915abg, 3945bg, 3945abg, 4965ag, 4965agn Mini PCI adapter driver(7kwv50ww.exe)" from website, because I know I used this driver(7kwc50ww.exe) for my wirelss card in XP.
However, when I tried to install by following the installation instrucion, the iSetup.EXE installed successfully, but Vista still cannot recognize my wireless card.
Then I tried to manually choose the driver:
- Intel Wireless WiFi Link 4965ag
- Intel Wireless WiFi Link 4965agn
- Intel PRO/Wireless 3945bg Network Connection
- Intel PRO/Wireless 3945abg Network Connection
- Intel PRO/Wireless 2200bg Network Connection
- Intel PRO/Wireless 2915abg Network Connection
but it seems no one works with my wirelss card, none of them can be installed in Vista.
How could I figure out the problem ? and how could I make my wireless work in Vista?

may be your wlan card is made off a different vendor. I would suggest to donwload Everest, as Trial and
look which vendor your card came from.
Or another possibility download the hardware manual of your system from the driver&support page of Lenovo,
open your system by self and look at your card.
