T43 2687 OS Upgrade

I currently have Windows XP and need a newer OS for some of my programs. I see that there are very few official drivers beyond XP. I am willing to use 10, 8.1, or 7 in that order of preference. I mainly need sound, video, ethernet, and wireless. What do you suggest, specs:

ATI Mobility Radeon X300

HL-DT-ST RW/DVD GCC-4242N

Intel 82801

Mobile Intel 915GM/PM

Broadcom Netextreme Gigabit Ethernet

Intel Pro wireless 2915ABG

Intel M 1.86 Ghz

The machine I am replying on is a T43P running Windows 7 with the maximum 2Gb memory and it copes well enough for me to use it as my daily machine.

The only thing I have done is to find the Win 7 drivers for the individual devices rather than rely on a pre built set for the machine as a whole.

I have fitted none Lenovo disk and network card which required using the BIOS that bypasses the Lenovo restriction checks.
