Re: T60 VGA issue

Hi!

I have the same problem. I have been using a Trust vga to scart converter which worked fine at first but after a couple of months it suddenly stopped working. Since then my vga port also doesn't work anymore.

I've tried all drivers/updates, bios settings but nothing seems to work. In my case I'm quite sure it is a hardware problem. Is there some kind of fuse on the main board that might be blown?

Re: T60 VGA issue

It looks to my that Lenovo made the VGA on T60 lefthanded, and that there is nothing to do but buy another machine. I am looking to buy a mac this time, I just won't take the chance with another Lenovo....

If there are anyone with a good advice for this problem, which seems to haunt alot of Lenovo users - please come forward - any response is well appreciated!

Re: T60 VGA issue

My company has got 2 units of T60 giving VGA issues as well..

Called Lenovo customer support, was advised that its probably a motherboard issue..

does anyone else got solutions for the VGA output issue?

Re: T60 VGA issue

the only way to solve this type of issue is to actually get a new motherboard.

Re: T60 VGA issue

I've got the same problem on my T60, under ubuntu.

The second screen is recognised by the ubuntu screen manager, but Ive no output.

Shame cos some pixels are dead on my laptop screen.

Sure we have to change the mother board ? Is there any chance to have a change using the dock station ?
