The one part remaining that requires attention on this 'brought back to life' machine is the battery.
The battery life is not good from what I remember. I think I purchased this second battery directly from Lenovo years ago. It's the longer life version that sticks out about a 1/2" from the back. When I'm ready to purchase, I'll pull the battery to determine if it's a 6 or 9 cell.
1. Is there a reliable Win10 utility that can gauge realistically how much time a fully charged battery can run for?
2. How do you determine a good buy for a *good battery? I've noticed TechFuel frequently?
EDIT: Please disregard. I will test the Win10 battery hours remaining 'in real life' then determine whether a new battery is necessary or not.

I was connected to this Battery Tutorial on the Win10 forum that describes an excellent, buried battery utility. I'm attaching a Word doc that I had pasted the information that I needed along with links to the full thread(s).
Hopefully, someone else will also find this utility useful.
