Re: T61P LCD quality for WUXGA

boy, that flexview color management driver really makes a difference on my t61p wsxga+ screen. it's much brighter and the viewing angles are certainly increased.

True comments about Mark and the T61.

However, Apple would never compare itself to a Lenovo product, so I highly doubt such a communication ever took place.

Wjli2, in your post here:

seems to be more Apple friendly.

Ive read and seen many instances where T61s have not survived a fall that MacBook Pros have survived. It is all relative.

I think that a T61 and a MacBook Pro are great solutions when incorporated together. -- I trust that you are enjoying yours!

Re: T61P LCD quality for WUXGA

I like Apple Products, but don't like their warranty, is there some problem with that.... Maybe people should read the comments made by the Apple Troll called Adamneb regarding his exact job title............

If i don't like Apple then i would not have brought that many products, but i will stick with Lenovo Thinkpads for everyday computing and Apple for occasional showoff to my peers....

Re: T61P LCD quality for WUXGA

ThinkPads and Macs are two different worlds, neither of which is perfect, and they are aimed at completely different target groups from the marketing perspective.

Back to the original topic, having seen all the LCDs on the current T61/p series, I'd still vote for WUXGA as being the nicest one amongst them...my $0.02 only...
Cheers,

George

TPFLX.ICM , it's on your pc.  search for it, and add it thru right click desktop/properties/settings/advanced/color management/add.

Let me know what you think.

Re: T61 LCD quality

I just ran the Nvidia color management panel and got the fix for washed out colors.  So not sure if the information on this entire thread is correct.  Time will tell.

Re: T61P LCD quality for WUXGA

Can anyone provide a link for either a Lenovo installer containing this TPFLX.ICM or the file itself? My laptop (fairly early T61p) seems to not have it.
T61p - 6460-7EU + UltraBays galore.
I'd rather be on a pSeries, but they're a bit heavy to carry around.

Re: T61P LCD quality for WUXGA

Go to Lenovo's download area, and download the video driver pack for your machine, it will be in there ( it's applicable for your machine ).  The readme associated with the pack will detail what's in there.
