Let's try doing the following steps to pinpoint the problem
1) Remove both the battery and AC adpater from ther unit.
2) Press the power button in and out 10 times in a row
3) Press and hold down the power button for 30 seconds
4) Now plug in only the AC adapter, then push the power button to see if the unit fires on
We call this method the power static discharge. I hope this fixes the problem
If the unit fires on, but you hear the fan blowing and have no image on your screen at all, try connecting an external monitor to the unit (then press FN+F7 to toggle to the external image)
If you get an image on the external monitor and not the LCD, your LCD needs to be replaced
If you are not getting an image on neither the LCD nor external, you should contact tech support .
You might need another systemboard in all likelihood.
I'm sure that warranty will come in handy here it seems.
Let me know if I can help with anything else.
