Re: YOU GOTTA HEAR THIS!!!!

Thanks, but that's old news .... that trick is only temporary and it will eventually fail again ..... read back through the forums for more info.

Two (I used to have Five) - T61p 15.4" WS T9300 2.5Ghz units, August 08/08 Builds with FX570M Nvidia Graphics; ... One W520 i7-2860QM w/2000M Nvidia Graphics (most recent acquisition and stupidly fast); .... One - T42 4:3 15" Flexview 1.8GHz with ATI Graphics (still perfect for traveling); ... Two - T500 15.4" units both with ATI HD3650 Graphics.

@Vesker

Yeah, and the same fault is back but the frustration grows. Believe me, I know the pain. Check with the thread and you will know the new mb was a good investment.

ThinkPads: 560 / 770 / 380z / T20 (2647-44G) + Dock II / T23 / R50p (1832-23G) now with T42p mb (2373-CTO) / T41p (2374-GGG) / R.I.P. T61p (6458-W1H) @ HD (rip) + Adv. Dock / X200t (7453-BH7)

no progress with that phone call

[ Edited ]

well I tried calling tonight to get my T61 repaired, and the guy on the other end said that the MIGR-75087 number didn't show up for him on google so he couldn't do anything with it. I tried to get someone above him, but he said that I'd have to call back during business hours. I know when I mentioned this:

"This doccument cannot be access via google because it is a tip classified as dealer / servicer confidential.   This is a reason why I have advised customers of the doccument number to aid discussions with service but have not published the contents here.  " -mark_lenovo http://forums.lenovo.com/t5/T61-and-prior-T-series-ThinkPad/T61p-exhibiting-1-long-and-2-short-beep-...

He said that someone higher up than him might be able to look it up. I guess I'll try again tomorrow! And still no response from Mark on my PM, I guess he's a busy guy. Smiley Happy

Thanks Mark. I sent you a PM. If you do have time this weekend to look at that, that would be great!
