T61: The letter I (i) not responsive on keyboard.

I have had my T61 laptop for about a year and half and haven't had any problems. A few days ago the letter I (i) started to lose its responsiveness on the keyboard. It has gotten worse and worse and it now BARELY works. There was no water damage or any other sort of damage, and I took the keys off, and cleaned it, everything looks fine. The rubber part looks properly lined up, so I really have no clue as to what the problem is. Does anyone have any suggestions about how I could fix this or where I should bring it to get it fixed. I am going to school in D.C. so I don't know any local computer places but should I take it to Geek Squad at Best Buy or is it the type thing I'd have to send in?

If you are still in warranty Lenovo will send you a new keyboard. It is very easy to change.

Check your warranty status here.
