T61 how to set Laptop resolution higher than its native resolution

I have been trying to setup one customers T61 laptop resolution higher to 1900x1200 from native 1440 x 900 because he has some old program that doest have scaling option. How this can be done? i have got this to work some time but i dont remember how i did it. Screen will move when mouse cursor is near edge. Monitor resolution is still 1440 x 900 but windows desktop resolution is 1900x1200.

OS= Win XP
GPU= Nvidia Quatro NVS140M
Thinkpad t61 1440 x 900 (native resolution)

 But the checkbox (using vista) is disabled. How do you enable it?
