Also, if I wanted to upgrade my hard drive from the 40G I have, what specs should I look for? I'd like to get atleast an 80G if not a 120G. Will this work?
Nevermind, I just found all the thread about the 2010 error messages. Thats a wasp nest I don't want to disturb. I'll just get an external drive.

To upgrade the graphics you'd have to swap the whole motherboard, not a cost-effective solution.
Fujitsu 120GB hard drives work without giving out a "2010 error". They're available at www.zipzoomfly.com
Hope this helps.

Am I to assume the only way to upgrade would be to get a motherboard from a 26XX T43 along with the graphics adapter and an sxga lcd screen? How much better would you rate the graphics? I am assuming it would be cheaper to get a new laptop? If so, what model TP would you recommend? I play an online game and the graphics are not over the top but it makes the Intel graphics in my T43 heat up the CPU into the red according to the tpfc. I might be able to find a 15.1" 26XX on ebay for parts or cheap that I can scrap for parts.
I will look into the Fujitsu drive. I am assuming mine is a ATA since it has the 40 pin plug on the back of the drive? i know that is what it is in a desktop but never bought a drive for a laptop. Thanks.
