I don't think so. You can customize your thinkpad to many different specs but certain combinations are not possible.
Lenovo laptops are all pre-built, so from a supply prespective it is easier to build laptops with similar specs.... ... so there is pretty much no possibility of individualisation of computer spec with Lenovo.... unlike Dell which allow you to build laptops to your desired spec, then your laptop are built to your exact order requirement.....

most of the Thinkpad laptops are all preset..... there are many different models within a series..... but a definite model number, you can't really change of its spec.... well at least in Australia that is.... is that different within USA or other countries
Yes, in the USA and now in Canada, you can buy a CTO, or configure to order, system and fit it out to your own needs within limitations.
