I recently installed (clean install) windows 7 ultra 32 bit on my lenovo, previously vista, 32 bit.  the touch pad and the red joystick no longer work. it worked at first, I shut down,  but then hasn't worked since.  I downloaded new drivers from lenovo, and checked the bios settings.  most of the instruction I see tells me to either hit Fn f8 to activate the settings for these devices, or select in programs or systray.  I have none of these options.  does anyone out there in lenovo-land have any ideas?  any would be appreciated. (and yes, it's plugged in!!!)

Re: ultranav

Hello,

Have you tried installing the ThinkVantage System Update software?  When run, it automatically locates and installs any missing ThinkVantage software, such as the drivers for the TrackPoint pointing stick and the touch pad.

Regards,
