4k on 3gen x1 *Carbon* lenovo

2021-04-03, 17:14 PM

Got a 20BT-s29B00  lenovo x1 carbon hooked up to a onelink pro DU9033s1

I've just bought a hisense 4k tv and want to hook up my X1 to it. I'm using Linux mint and want to optimize my setup. What's the best way to do this please?

thanks

Hello comicpilson,

Greetings

The PSREF shows that the external digital monitor support via Mini DisplayPort or HDMI
(supports VGA analog monitor via Mini DisplayPort to VGA Monitor Cable);
supports three independent displays;
Max resolution: 3840x2160 (Mini DisplayPort)@60Hz; 4096x2304 (HDMI)@24Hz

Though this are recommended settings for Windows based OS, which you may also try in Linux Mint.
Otherwise, you may check the Linux forum section for better assistance regarding Mint set up.

Let's also wait for the comments of fellow users who might have more ideas about this.

Best regards,
Lorenzo_Lenovo
