Best X1 Tablet Gen3 Screen Protector and EU/UK Link?

2020-04-11, 14:45 PM

Hi,

I have an X1 Tablet Gen 3, and after reading some threads warning of screen damage from the keyboard, and having seen the trackpad make a smudge on an X1 Carben Gen 5, I bought a BROTECT AirGlass screen.  However I've found it to have a lot of glare and reflection, way too much in fact.  I would like to know what the best screen protector is, or at least what people recommend?  I read about Photodon but this seems to be a US only product.

What I have but find too reflective:

Touchsceen works fine, as does pen but it feels a tiny little bit 'plastic filmy' in terms of writing.  I barely use the pen so not something I find annoying.

I did see an anti-glare product but at £35 its a little steep to buy without feedback:

Thoughts?  Options?  I found some on amazon, but they had no user reviews.

I am playing Resident Evil 7 and being so dark, the glare is pretty bad during the day to be able to play as everything is black on screen.

I am using the German company atFolix FX-Clear and atFolix FX-Hybrid-Glass on two X1 Tablet Gen 3s. Both are reflective and I like them both. They are easily installed and fit extremely well. The Hybrid-Glass is thicker than the Clear and is probably more reflective. I also purchased their FX-Antireflex-HD which may suit you better but I haven't tried this yet. They have many others to choose from but the ones mentioned above are the most resistent to scratching.

I bought mine via the atfolix ebay Store.
