Have you tried resetting the Power options to their defaults (and restoring the checkmark to the Broadcom adaptor power management)?

I tried that already but doesn't seem to help.

 

Yesterday I removed my CISCO VPN adapter (complete uninstall) and here's what I've notice so far:

 

1. I had several instances where the tablet would not wake from sleep (same as other users)

2. Later in the day after a few restarts I notice the wifi does not drop now when in sleep, but i have a "Connected but Limited" status now after a prolonged sleep (maybe 15min +)
