How do I install from unknown sources?

My 18382GM Tablet failed to boot recently and was sent back to Lenovo for repair. They reimaged it and now I am trying to install the apps I had on it previously. One app is not on the Play store or App store. I don't see an "unknown sources" option under "Settings" > "Apps" to allow me to intall it with the apk file.

Where do I find it or enable the option?

Re: How do I install from unknown sources?

I've found the answer. It is under Settings > Security > Device Administration > Unknown Sources

The option of unknown sources is grayed out?

I just bought a Lenovo S330 as a programmer developer, but the option to get apps or anything else from unknown sources is greyed out and inaccessible?  I notice a few other areas in settings that are seemingly glued shut, there was no way to know before I bought the laptop, but I'm the rightful owner of it,  I need settings to be unlimited, how do I gain access, please tell me asap,  I don't have much time?
