Lenovo X1 Tablet - 3rd Gen - Very Slow performance when on Battery!!

2018-06-29, 18:17 PM

Hi all,

I have a company Lenovo X1 Tablet Carbon - 3rd Gen (i7, 16GB RAM, 1 TB SSD) and when not plugged to the charger, the CPU performances goes down to 0,5ish GHZ performance making it quite unusable even on video conferences!

Please help me out here, once when connected to charger it really works well as expected!

Lenovo Vantage allows you to change some power saving features. Download it from the windows store, and look through the settings (I don't have my X1T3 with me right now). Also click on the Windows battery icon in the system tray and see if switching to high performance makes a difference. It will certainly lower your battery runtime though!
