Re: OTA2 fix list

So is the OTA2 delayed because of root or is there another reason?
Really whish they would speed up a bit - have a bunch of problems, 99% software related and was hoping for a much faster patch release cycle. Why haven`t Lenovo released 3.2 for example? Tellng customers to wait for ICS is cheap!

Re: OTA2 fix list

It is not cheep to skip 3.2. It is better for Lenovo to skip 3.2 (which is a minor update) and focus on ICS.

Think things through before ranting on their test cycles. ICS has been known for a while. Would you rather have ICS in a few months, or 3.2 now.

Lenovo has to test each release which takes time.

Re: OTA2 fix list

The GPS fix has been added in OTA2. We are looking at releasing the US image early next week.

UK & WE will follow in 3 -4 days after US release.

New feature: disable hardware buttons

Wow Lenovo, do you even read what we post? I don't think this is a feature you should be spending time on when there are other HUGE things to tackle here. I'm embarrassed for you.

Re: OTA2 fix list

Obviously there is much more to be done, however, disabling the physical buttons is something that I will be quite happy about. I like this tablet a lot, but fell very frustrated with those buttons. The only button I actually puss not accidentally (I mean the only useful button there is the enable/disable rotation). But yes, our demand list was much bigger than that Lenovo...
