Re: Pen Settings App

Did you figure out how to do this? I'm running into the same issue. I tried it on a fresh computer and when it downloads it goes to the Microsoft Store, however when I search the Microsoft Store I can't find the App.

Re: Pen Settings App

Here is a screenshot of the App in the Windows Store that you can not find by search.

Yes yes ye. One million times Yes!!!!

Downloaded the app and it works perfectly!

Thanks so much. I wonder why it doesn't come up in the Windows Store in a search.

Re: Pen Settings App

Hi,

I am using the ThinkPad Pen Pro (the one without the top button) with the new X1 Table (3rd Gen). I have installed both the "Lenovo Pen Settings" App and the "Wacom Pen" App. Problem is that when I try to open either of the Apps, nothing happens. Understand that I should be able to use these apps to configure the barel buttons and pen sensitivity?

Also to check, is this a bluetooth pen? Am I suppose to pair it up with the PC? But seems like I am not able to detect it under bluetooth.

Thanks for any help here.

Re: Pen Settings App

The same happens to others (see here). The Windows 10 Wacom/Lenovo Pen configuration app does not seem to work anymore.

Re: Pen Settings App

Hi all,

I managed to get this working by:

1. Remove all Pen drivers and App

2. Restart computer

3. Reinstall driver from https://support.lenovo.com/my/en/downloads/ds502477

4. Restart computer

The Lenovo Pen Settings App was reinstalled and working after this.

Re: Pen Settings App

Thanks for the reply. I tried what you suggested and it did not work: the Lenovo Pen Setting app still failed to start while producing various errors in Windows 10 Event Viewer.

However, then I went to the Windows 10 Device Manager and clicked on "Software components\Lenovo Pen Service\Driver\Update Driver". Surprisingly this updated the driver and installed an older rather than newer version of the driver, namely v.7.5.1.37 from 18/07/2018, in place of the 2019 version.

With this older driver, the Lenovo Pen Setting now starts and work as expected!

Re: Pen Settings App

A few hours after I reported that the Pen Setting App restarted working, the App automatically updated itself and it stopped working again: it fails to start.

Re: Pen Settings App

Hello,

Just an FYI - I found a newer version (7.6.10) version of the Wacom Components here:

http://us.wacom.com/en/feeldriver/get.php?file=Wacom_Components_7.6-10.10.28_win_32_64.exe

Thanks,
