Thanks for sharing your experience. It is delayed again to 17th Aug. I will also cancel the order Monday, and get refund. I found that I can buy the Surface book i7 at the same price. And It will be shipped and delivered within just two days. I will not buy Lenovo product again.

Do not believe whatever the post-sale team said. Same here, ordered on 06/24. Got delayed 4 times and now pushed to 08/19.

 

The post-sale team (on line chat) is so rude. Always said they had no control over manufacture. My order status is "on hold due to the shortage of parts". They also refused to feedback to manufacture and anyone else of this delay issues.

I ordered June 20th, my order finally shipped today, delivery scheduled next Thursday. UPS shows it currently leaving China.

I am happy to report that I received this wonderful piece of kick-ass machinery about 4 days ago. Like many of you, I also ordered dating back to June 10th, :smileysad: got the numerous delay email notices, mediocre customer service (only one operator KEPT IT G with me and asked me if I should cancel), but I decided to simply wait, and I am pleased to let you guys know that its working with no problems or without any issues. :smileywink:

The wait was worth it - but like many of you I despaired sometimes and I wondered if getting a Surface Book or a Pro4 was a better idea - anyhow, I got it with the productivity Module which was shipped to me many months ago - which is also working perfectly.

 

Guys - hang in there, it WILL come soon enough. :smileywink:

Updates!!!!

Finally got my X1. Guess what? There is no keyboard in the package.

Cheating!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Placed 2 orders for the exactly same configuration (the very basic one). The 1st order placed on 05/30/2016, invoiced 06/06 and received 06/12. It came with keyboard. The 2nd order placed on 06/24/2016, invoiced 08/12 and received 08/18. It did not come with keyboard. I am sure when I ordered it, same options as ordered. The product # exactly same. I knew Lenovo probably changed the keyboard as an option to charge you more between 06/2016 to 08/2016, since competitors do not offer keyboard as default. Customer services transferred me to sales and sales asked me to talk with customer services. Be careful! No solution ever.

I am asking for return. They asked for 15% restock fee. If i can see any of their custom services guy in person. I am going to through the tablet on their faces.

Got mine today. It was delayed in customs, but UPS stepped it up and got it here fast anyway. I'm typing this from it.

 

It's been a long road, but I'm glad I got it in time for my next work trip. Just getting it all set up. So far, so good.

Welcome to the club bro

 

First thing first - that wireless device driver needs to be udpated ASAP so please update it as soon as possible or enjoy the multiple disconnects - When I first opened mines up it was of 4/16 but there is a current driver update as of 7/16 which is last month.

 

From there on I STRONGLY suggest you use the Lenovo Companion App and update all the drivers and updates as needed - trust me man, the wireless adapter being suspect #1.

I was going to until I saw a post from someone from Germany claiming it was cancelled and the case never went any further than that - hence my concern. Also as of now - my wifi keeps dropping like crazy despite numerous updates and latest revisions with firmware and BIOS, my last hope is that the Windows 10 anniversary udpate will magically fix this - or back to Lenovo it goes.

I created a windows 10 installer USB and did an upgrade-in-place, then installed all the Lenovo recommended driver updates and so on. It's working nicely now for me. I recommend you give that a try. Oh, and most of them wouldn't install from within Lenovo Companion for whatever reason, I used its list as a guide to download and run the updates directly from the Lenovo support site, which worked fine.

 

Before that, sfc /scannow found errors it couldn't correct, and I couldn't get DISM to work either. I should have just blown everything away and done a completely clean install when I got it, maybe.
