enough with the sight problem. lets get to the topic itself .
I used google translate and the page was empty of information . I dont think that a qualified developer ( specially this much ) would post on such a forum .

The other possibility is that this is a leak from a Chinese Lenovo dev investigating ICS for the TPT (obviously an unskinned version).  Whatever the case it's promising.

I don't believe it's photoshopped - or if it is it's an extremely good shopping complete with matched grain and so on.  Not something you'll get from an amateur very often.  So if it's real it's either a hack or a leak.  Either way is good news!

Exactly what I was thinking. :)

I'm no expert but cant you just display a fullscreen picture of an ICS screenshot on a TPT and then take a Picture?

Betreff: Someone update ICS4.0 in TPT

2011-12-13, 19:45 PM

I haven’t weighted in on the ICS thing, because "I want to believe", but all my experience at work (several years) in various fields (product dev and marketing) at a largish company (not the biggest, but we're out there) and I honestly DO NOT see Lenovo putting ICS on the TPT. Sorry.

The device is halfway to retirment in the current product cycle speed (seriously, 3-6 month, and you're old news), with a replacement rumoured as close as Feb (tegra 3, but without the pen) if the TPT would get the ICS it would cannibalize possible sales for the next gen device.

I would reckon what we're seeing here is the TPT2 (without the pen) running the ICS it will eventually feature (it's called "reason to buy/upgrade") and we can all thank apple for bringing this asshat strategy to the mass-market.

Instead of making a product good, make it OK and keep pumping out better versions

If I was at Lenovo (and I am not) I would be hard pressed to explain to the manager (who see apple sales figures) and explain to them that getting devoted evangelists (us) out there (by putting ICS on the TPT) is more important than short term sales boosts and crapping all over your brand (sorry, Lenovo, you DO NOT have the product dev department of apple...)

i am halfway thinking of selling this pos. it "works" ok but is too slow and sluggish in the gui and constant app force close issues. i waited for the nov 2011 update that improved things, but now am waiting for rest of the patches to be fixed in either another 3.1 or 3.2 build + ics (if it ever happens).

i wanted a tablet with digitizer pen and the extra ports were nice options.

thanks lenovo for ruining my dream of having a tablet i can be proud of owning.

i have two tablets with tegra 2 cpu's. acer's a100 7inch runs laps around the thinkpad because it's so much faster to unlock, load launcher, open apps.

with the thinkpad it's hard to "show off" when it lags unlocking, lags loading the default launcher, and then lags opening settings or apps, then force closes and lags again.

so far it's got the look, the features on paper. but is a pos to use.

i pull out my acer more often then the thinkpad....
