I have just updated my TPT2 to Windows 8.1, with BIOS 2.10. I'm having a new problem where when I connect to any 5 GHz wifi networks, the bluetooth immediately drops out. For example, my TPT2 keyboard stops working. I have to disconnect from the wifi using the touch screen and reboot the machine.
I want to turn off 5GHz in the wifi driver so that I won't connect to any 5GHz accidentally and kick out my bluetooth - but that doesn't seem to be an option in this driver. I can see this being a problem if a particular wifi network uses the same SSID name for both its 5 GHz and 2.4 GHz networks.
This is especially odd to me because Bluetooth uses 2.4 GHz not 5, and connecting to 2.4 GHz wifi causes no problems.
I am on wifi driver gew413ww
bluetooth driver gewb12ww
I do have the 8.1 platform drivers, gehp03ww, installed as well.
